This policy explains what MyDay – Live Activity Planner collects, why it is used, how long it is retained, and how you can control or delete it.
Information Collection and Use
MyDay is ad-free. We do not sell personal information, use data for third-party advertising, or track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.
Authentication
We use Firebase anonymous authentication. You are not asked for a name, email address, phone number, or social account. Firebase creates a random account identifier so your cloud data can be separated from other users' data.
Data Storage
Activity names, schedules, durations, recurrence choices, icons, completion state, time zone, and notification registrations are stored in Google Firebase to provide planning, syncing, reminders, and Live Activity features. Firebase installation and device identifiers may be processed to deliver notifications and operate the service.
Subscriptions
Purchases are processed by Apple. RevenueCat processes an app user identifier, device and operating-system information, subscription receipts, purchase history, entitlement status, and last-seen time so MyDay can unlock and restore Pro features. MyDay does not receive your payment card details.
Optional Analytics and Crash Reports
With your permission, Google Analytics for Firebase collects product interaction data, an app-instance identifier, approximate location, and device information to help us understand feature use. Firebase Crashlytics collects crash traces, diagnostic device information, and installation identifiers so we can find and fix reliability problems. MyDay's custom events exclude activity names, task identifiers, notification tokens, email addresses, and phone numbers. You can turn this sharing on or off at any time in Settings.
Third-Party Service Providers
We use Google Firebase for authentication, database storage, notifications, analytics, and crash reporting, and RevenueCat for subscription management. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. Data may be processed outside New Zealand.
Data Retention
Activities remain until you delete them. Notification registrations remain while your workspace is active. Analytics, crash, and purchase records follow the retention settings of Google Firebase, Apple, and RevenueCat. Some purchase records may need to be retained for subscription, fraud-prevention, tax, or legal purposes.
Your Choices and Deletion
Notification permission and anonymous diagnostics are optional. You can change diagnostics sharing in Settings. To permanently remove your anonymous account, activities, and notification registrations, open MyDay Settings and choose “Delete My Data.” Subscription cancellation is managed separately in your Apple ID subscription settings. You may also contact us for privacy questions or deletion assistance.
